How to Use the Quality Feature

Quickly identify and remove photos that don't meet your standards—like blurry, dark, or noisy shots.

What Counts as Low Quality?

PhotoBase Cleaner uses an AI model to assess the quality of photos. Although "quality" is subjective, the model should help you more easily identify the good photos, and the ones to review for deletion. Saving you a lot of time in the process. With many photo libraries now over 10,000 photos, this is a great way to reduce the burden of reviewing your photos. Some of the features the model looks for include:

  • Blur from motion or misfocus
  • Heavy noise in low light
  • Severe under/over exposure
  • Obstructions or accidental shots
  • Overall Aesthetics
  • Object Detection
  • And more

Using the Low Quality Feature

  1. Open PhotoBase Cleaner.
  2. Tap on the Low Quality widget. Note: this is a Pro feature
  3. Review the photos that are flagged as low quality.
  4. Delete obvious misses or Save borderline keepers.

Tips and Controls

  • Review in good light to judge exposure accurately.
  • Batch delete after confirming a set to save time.
